On sunday January 13th over 4000 New Yorkers entered the subway without pants. The man behind the idea, Charlie Todd, is known for his sensational pranks. With his annual “No pants subway ride” he has created a huge interest worldwide. In April he will come to Oslo to speak at Gulltaggen.
“The no pants subway ride” has been arranged for the 12th time this year. It started off with seven guys, and this year over 60 cities in 25 countries participated. Mexico and Shanghai are among the countries who joined the happening. The plot is simple: The participants behave as normal and board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter – the only unusual thing is their lack of pants. What´s left are bare legs and underwear – for the other passengers big surprise.
I’m thrilled to be coming to Norway for the first time this Spring to speak at Gulltaggen and stage our first ever project in the country, says Charlie Todd.
