Kjetil Siem, CEO of the Football Association of Norway (NFF)

Mr. Kjetil P. Siem has been the CEO of the Football Association of Norway since 2012. Kjetil is an experienced Media Professional and Sports Administrator with a proven track record of leading through vision and teamwork. His background is from journalism as both a reporter for Aftenposten and Head of Tournament Coverage for TV 2. In 2005 he was CEO of Vålerenga when they won the Norwegian League for the first time in over 20 years. He went on to head the Norwegian Professional League itself for a year before heading to South Africa to be CEO of their league, the PSL. After four years at the PSL which included seeing the country host the FIFA World Cup 2010 Kjetil returned to Norway as Head of Sports for TV Norge/MAX before taking up his current post in NFF. Kjetil believes firmly in values based leadership where NFF’s vision of “Football for all” plays a vital role and has been central in bringing the Handshake for Peace from a concept in Norway to the finals of the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil.
