Torgeir Waterhouse is a Norwegian director and lobbyist. He has especially focused on cases regarding copyright issues and digital medias. In 2007, the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv said Waterhouse played a key factor when Apple stopped trying to force its users to have to buy Ipods when using their Itunes system. Moreover, he’s been a senior advisor at the Norwegian Consumer Council from 1998-2008, where he, among other things, worked on the ‘Napster-case’ and different issued regarding music sharing online, copyrights and locked-inn DRM-solutions. Today, Torgeir Waterhouse works as the Director for Internett and New Media at IKT-Norway.
